About the Café
Biscuits & Beans isn’t your average café. We’re a welcoming community space where locally roasted coffee, dozens of thoughtfully crafted drinks, fresh-baked goods, and adoptable cats come together in the heart of Winchester.
Here’s what makes us different:
- No-Tips, Just Tails: Kindness shouldn’t cost extra. Our prices are fair, our team is paid well, and we never ask for tips. Instead, we invite you to support local cat rescue through our Just Tails Foundation for Cat Care, an approach we explain more fully on our About Us page.
- Cozy Atmosphere: Located on Winchester’s historic Loudoun Street Mall, our café is a warm, comfortable place to work, meet friends, or enjoy a quiet moment with great coffee and some yummy nosh, with a simple overview of what to expect available on How It Works.
- Cat Care: Our lounge offers rescue cats a calm, thoughtfully designed space where they can relax, socialize, and be seen. Feline wellbeing guides everything we do.

Ready to meet the residents? Book a session in our cat lounge. Reservations are required and can be made online through this website. Sessions run 40-minutes with limited availability, so book ahead.

Just Tails Foundation for Cat Care
Just Tails Foundation for Cat Care is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit supporting the rescue partners of Biscuits & Beans Cat Café across the northern Shenandoah Valley. They help ensure every cat in need receives compassionate care, a safe place to heal, and the chance to find the loving home they deserve.
Instead of tipping at the cafe, we invite you to donate to the Just Tails Foundation. They are a 100% volunteer-run foundation with no overhead, every dollar of your donation goes directly to help cats in our community.
