Meet Zoso

Zoso is a 5-year-old black domestic shorthair with eyes that miss nothing and a past that’s written in every careful step he takes. Born on the streets of Winchester, VA, Zoso learned early how to fend for himself—dodging cars, scrounging for food, and sleeping with one eye open. Life outside was never kind, and trust isn’t something he gives freely.

He’s mysterious and watchful, often perched high on a shelf in the café where he can observe without being seen. Some say he’s aloof, but the truth is, Zoso’s still deciding if the world is finally safe. He doesn’t purr for just anyone—but earn his respect, and you’ll find a fiercely loyal soul beneath that streetwise stare.

He’s not here to be cute. He’s here because, for the first time in his life, someone gave him a second chance.

Zoso is clearly not one of our foster cats. He’s a placeholder for a couple weeks until our cats do check into the catquarium.
